If you’re reading this, you are probably searching for ways to make money and I’d like to thank you for stopping by.  Next, I’d like to tell you exactly what this blog is.  The problem is that I plan on this being an ongoing work as I learn more myself about ways to make money.  I’ll focus primarily on making money online, but I may venture into  “real world” ideas too.

If you look at the Google search data, you’ll see that a LOT of people (as in thousands) type in the phrase “ways to make money” every day.  There are also a few hundred thousand pages out there set up to snag these people and try to sell them something.  Some of the products are good, legitimate opportunities to make some money.  Some though, are garbage or scams.  I’ve tried or explored quite a few of these and one of the goals of this Ways to Make Money Blog will be to steer you toward the worthwhile products and away from the junk that is simply designed to drain your wallet in a hurry.

Hopefully the free advice I give will also be worth your time.  It does come from experience but I’m definitely NOT claiming to be some kind of internet marketing guru.  Just the sound of that makes me wretch a little because I’ve had my mailbox jammed in the past by people who never deliver on what they promise, and it really annoys me.

As with anything online, read it, watch it, or check it out and use your common sense.   All of the standard disclaimers apply.  You know them, I’m sure.  There are no guarantees when you start any business.  You are solely responsible for any money you make or lose.  No guarantees are stated or implied by this site’s owner.  If you decide to try something out, use your common sense.  If someone promises that you will make $500,000 in a week, they are probably lying.  I know if I was doing that, I’d probably be retired within a couple of months and walking along a tropical beach somewhere…not trying to sell things online…right?
