Make Money Online, Not Garbage

It seems like most people who are searching for information about ways to make money online don’t really want to know the truth about the situation. The truth is, it is not a get rich quick proposition. In fact, it is far from it. If you are thinking of starting a project with the intention of making fast money, you might as well forget it. It just does not work that way.

Am I saying that you can’t make money online? I’m not saying that at all. I love doing this stuff. You have to have patience though. A lot of it actually. I have been lucky enough to come into contact with some people who have similar goals about building legitimate online businesses. Some are making thousands per month doing nothing but online endeavors. I think that every one of them would agree that building a business to earn money on the Internet is a long term proposition.

If you ever find yourself reading online making money forums, you should take note of how many people show up and then disappear within a month or two. They all believed for some reason that they would be raking in money hand over fist within a month. Take a look around at all of the half finished, spammy sites that they threw up trying to grab quick cash. I’m sure you have come across them before. They won’t show up in Google searches, but they are usually named after extremely long, longtail keywords and they have two or three really pathetic posts put up on them. Maybe they loaded them down with affiliate links. When the world didn’t come storming to their site and click through to what they were selling, they got frustrated, took their ball, and went home. I say good riddance. That tripe really does nothing but clutter things up.

If you are going to put up sites with the intention of making some cash, don’t be stupid about it. It does not take that much longer to build a quality site. Why not give your visitors what they are looking for? Some people who are looking to make money fast, and move on to the next site, probably spend enough time trying to do things the “easy” way, that they actually could have put up an interesting, well thought out website if they had put their mind to it. I mean really, would you want to buy something from a site that looked like it was just auto generated with stolen content? They’ll never get a click out of me.
